Five Blogs To Read

These blogs range from internet marketing to venture capital. Take a look and pick your poison.

  1. http://blog.hubspot.com/ | Internet Marketing Blog. It lives up to the title with a wealth of resources, articles, free reports and general tips on everything Internet marketing related. I’ve mentioned their book, Inbound Marketing, in previous posts.
  2. http://www.avc.com/ | Venture Capitalist Fred Wilson’s blog. This is a good read if you’re at all interested in working with angel or venture capital investors. I don’t agree with all of his positions, but I enjoy reading all of his posts. He provides some fantastic insight into the mind of a venture capitalist, which can be very helpful for entrepreneurs seeking funding.
  3. http://www.copyblogger.com/ | Everything blog related. If you have visions of becoming a blogger, this is a great place to start. There is a range of content that is relevant for everyone from beginners to seasoned professionals. However, this blog is definitely catered to the ‘blogging as a business’ person and not ‘blogging for your business’ crowd. There’s a big difference between these two that I’m going to address in an upcoming post.
  4. http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ | Everything web design. This blog does a great job of providing a mix of inspiration, technical tips and introducing helpful resources. You will need at least a basic level of web development knowledge to get the full benefit of this blog.
  5. http://www.techcrunch.com/ | The big technology blog. You’ve probably heard of and visited TechCrunch. That doesn’t change the fact that they do a good job of covering a wide array of technology ventures. If you want to stay up
