It’s the beginning of August, and we want to know what you’re reading, watching, playing or posting. If you just saw a movie, tell us what you liked about it, what they could have done better, why that director should win an award. Or if you read a good book, fiction or non-fiction, give us your recommendation.
Post in the comments below with the title of whatever you consumed and a summary of what you liked or disliked about it.

About to start reading Switch or Tipping Point (haven’t decided)
I watched The Tourist this past weekend. The previews were the most entertaining part. The movie’s incredibly well acted, but it’s just so slow, and the ending was trite and predictable. But my wife loved it; so if you like slow romance movies, give it a watch.
I also started playing Portal 2, finally. It’s a puzzle-based game on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC/Mac, and it’s brilliant. If you enjoy video games in the slightest, please buy this game. The characters are so well written, the jokes are actually funny, the game’s challenging but fun, and you can play cooperatively with a friend or child.
