The Whole Foods experience focuses on a dedication to customers, including everything from providing the highest quality natural and organic products to creating an inviting store environment in each of their locations. When Whole Foods decided to open a store in the Newport News community, they hired Harvest to produce a design from the ground up that would embody the local culture and aesthetic and create a hometown atmosphere for locals.

Create a fully immersive environment to incorporate the local atmosphere along with the Whole Foods brand Design and develop everything from the ground up within the launch window to meet the store opening Implement the design by handling fabrication, production and installation of the full decor system

The Result

Harvest developed the entire project from beginning to end, from the store community mark (logo) and the full decor system to all fabrication and install. The overall design was inspired by the shipbuilding history and industry of Newport News as well as the area’s strong nautical influence, while still complementing the Whole Foods look and feel. When the project was complete, Harvest offered a true turnkey experience from initial community mark design to final installation walk within time for opening
